HARRY NEIL WRIGHT, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Ellen Wright of 63 years, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the age of 85 years.

Harry was a kind, compassionate man, whose family was his pride and joy. He was a hard working man with strong morals and ethics, and was a consummate gentleman, fiercely protective of his family and once you were a friend, you were a friend for life.

In his younger years, along with his brothers, they were the definition of “Cowboys”. Right until his passing, he always donned his cowboy hat and western buckle on his belt.

He leaves behind a legacy of commitment to marriage and the knowledge that his loving family will remain strong and supportive.

A Celebration of Harry’s Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Glenda Wert officiating.

  1. Betty (Russell) Cannady says:

My heartfelt condolences go out to you Ellen on the loss of your husband Harry. This also goes to your children and grandchildren. I am a former friend of you Ellen of many years ago when I lived nearby and went to Battersea School. I married Rex Cannady who lived near the Haney family from 1942 until 1947. I, to lost my husband Rex in 2011 after 62 years of marriage. I understand that my daughter Verna (Cannady) Masuda’s husband’s cousin is married to one of your sons, I hope I have that correct. Verna’s husband is Reg Masuda. She called me to tell me about Harry and felt I wanted to send you a note. I still keep in touch with Audrey (King) Baker. Betty Cannady.
