Ruth Wright passed away at the age of 90 on Thursday, December, 28, 2017 at Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre in Claresholm. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur & Ethel Norman and husband Ted Wright in 1982. Ruth is lovingly remembered by her children; Brenda (Wayne Jordan) of St. Albert, Leo of Nanton, Bonnie (Orville) Mercer of Canyon Creek, Terry (Roxanne) and their family of High River. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; Sabrina Mercer of Edmonton, Brandi & Amy Mercer of St. Paul, Dallas Bull and Laurie Bull; two great -granddaughters Jade and Sierra; and a special mention of her longtime companion Norm Davies of Hays; two sister Flossie Erno, of Picture Butte and Mary (Jim) George of Lethbridge; many nieces and nephews as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Ruth and Ted were longtime residents of Nanton AB. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire donations in Ruth’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Ruth’s Life will be held at Willow Creek Funeral Home (4079 – 1st Street West, Claresholm) on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at the Cozy Corner (2211 – 20th Street, Nanton) at 12:30 P.M.
