SINCLAIR

WILLIAM “BILL” ROBERT SINCLAIR, beloved husband of the late Joan Beatrice Sinclair, passed away at the Coaldale Health Center on March 15, 2018 at the age of 84 years.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, Tracy (Heather) Sinclair, Jolayne (Sidney) Manning, Rogan (Kim) Sinclair and son-in-law, Brian Nicol, as well as his grandchildren, Stefanie (Nick Kuhl) and Brent Nicol (Brinn Lemke), Quinn Sinclair, Christmas and Mickee Sinclair and Martine and Shannelle Manning.

Along with his wife, Bill was predeceased by his parents William (Scotty) and Isabella Sinclair, his daughter Ferrol Nicol and his grandson Kyle Nicol.

Bill was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta where he met Joan and lived a wonderful life, raising their four children. He worked for the Lethbridge Fire Department for 32 years and made a whole new family of great life-long friends.

Bill also volunteered for Henderson Lake Golf Course for many years, helping run the tournaments that went on there every weekend throughout the summer. When Bill wasn’t busy volunteering, helping his friends with roofing, fencing or house painting, he could be found out on the golf course trying to improve his handicap. He was very social, loved to cook for the firemen at work and threw great barbecue parties at home for all his friends and family. He would save his money and take his family on trips to Disneyland every other year while the kids were growing up.

He will be remembered for his happy, positive and loving demeanour and missed by all.

Bill’s family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the caring and loving staff over the past three years at Sunny South Lodge, especially to the Coaldale Health Centre where Bill spent the last seven months.

At Bill’s request, a private family service was held.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Coaldale Health Centre at 2100 – 11 Street Coaldale, Alberta T1M 1L2.
