Marjorie “Marge” Helen Anderson

1946 – 2018

Mrs. Marjorie “Marge” Anderson of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. Arnold Anderson, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the age of 71 years. Marge was born August 16, 1946 in Winkler, MB. She lived a full and active life which included camping, traveling to visit family and friends, and playing slow pitch and bowling in her earlier years. She also liked to read, knit, crochet and bake. She was best known for her homemade butter tarts and marshmallow salad, which were a hit at every family gathering. Marge and Arnold got married May 1, 1965 and made their move from Manitoba to Alberta to be closer to the mountains. They lived in Calgary, Caresland, Stirling, Sherwood Park and finally settled and retired in Lethbridge. Marge was a very good friend to many, always finding the good in every person she met. She had a great sense of humor and was always smiling. She made lifelong friends everywhere she lived. She always put others first and everyone was welcome in her home. Marge’s strength and bravery was an inspiration to all who knew her. She declared she would not shed a tear over her cancer diagnosis, and she never did. Besides her loving husband Arnold, Marge is survived by her daughters Charlene Myers and Tracey Pepin (Dwayne); mother Sara Neufeld; grandchildren Logan Myers, Brooklyn Myers, Brendan Pepin (Paige) and Evan Pepin; her sister Mary Anne Yaremchuk (Len) as well as numerous friends and their families. Marge was predeceased by her father John R. Dueck as well as her mother’s second husband Abe Neufeld.
