MARY HANZEL, beloved wife of the late Mike Hanzel, passed away peacefully, with family at her side at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, on Monday, April 16, 2018 at the age of 98 years.
Mary is survived by her son Dennis (Loretta) Hanzel and their children Ryan (Cindy) Hanzel {Matteo, Anthony and Emma} and Jewel (Travis) Peperkorn {Chloe}. Mary is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Fury and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Mike, Mary was predeceased by her son Edward, sister and brother-in-law Rosalie (Andy) Lengyel, brother John Fury as well as two great-grandsons Max and Jack.
Mary had a great love for flowers and gardening of all sorts, her yard was a testament to this when she was able to care for it. She will be fondly remembered as a simple lady and also quite private and so at her request, no formal Funeral Service will be held, instead a Private Family Graveside Service will take place at Mountain View Cemetery.
