EILEEN TOTH passed away unexpectedly at the Good Samaritan Garden Vista in Magrath, on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the age of 96 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband John Toth of Coaldale; loving daughter Carol Raasch of Magrath; granddaughter Debi (Mark) Charlesworth of Welling and their children Jeremy, Keely and Elizabeth; and grandson Ken (Bev) Raasch of Lac La Biche and his children Talia, Eric, Amanda and Scott; as well as seven great-great-grandchildren and her daughter-in-law Kaye Deglow.
She was predeceased by her husband Eric Loose and her son Larry Deglow.
Eileen was born February 3, 1922 in Retlaw, Alberta, the eighth of 12 children. At the age of two, her family moved to Del Bonita where they homesteaded. Eileen was raised and attended school in Del Bonita until moving to Magrath where she worked and raised her children on the farm. Following Eric’s passing, she moved to the acreage, which is located south of Calgary. Later on, she came home to Magrath where she was lovingly cared for by Carol and Debi.
A Memorial Service will be held at ST. JOHN’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 82 North, 2nd Street West, Magrath, AB on Thursday May 24, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jeremy Richert officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eileen may be made to the Good Samaritans Garden Vista, Box 550, Magrath, AB, T0K 1J0.
