McNEELY, Trelma

(nee Halmrast) June 23, 1927 – June 15, 2018

Trelma McNeely of Blackie, AB passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2018 just a few days short of her 91st birthday.Trelma was raised on a farm in the Warner, AB area, she went on to live in Raymond, Calgary, Spring Coulee, back to Calgary and enjoyed the last twelve years living on the acreage near Blackie. She was a long-time member of The Eastern Star in Calgary and Cardston. She enjoyed travelling in their motorhome over the years and she loved knitting, crafts and baking her famous apple pies. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joys of her life.She is survived by her loving family: daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Larry; son and daughter-in-law, Byron and Rose, five grandchildren, Gregg, Todd (Lauri), Jason (Alaina), Wayne (Nicole) and Katherine (Matt); and nine great-grandchildren, Nick, Ty, Hannah, Lucas, Orrin, Caellum, Killian, Calvin, and Freya. Trelma was predeceased by her loving husband Lowell McNeely with whom she shared over seventy wonderful years of marriage and her great grandson Dallas. A Celebration of Trelma’s Life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through
