  1. Lynn and Sandi McClung says:

We were so sorry to hear of Meryl’s passing. We know we have to leave this life but it’s so difficult to let go. Her lovely, happy disposition. Just always a joy to be around, a smile for everyone. Just kind of the person you think will always be there. We do hope her suffering was short and your time with her will bring you wonderful memories. So very proud to have felt like we were her friends. ?

  2. Diebert Girls says:

Bryan, Jean, Sharon and families….Your mom was a grand lady and one of the kindest as well, that I (Debbie) have ever known. She was like a second mom to me when you lived in Whiskey Gap and remember walking to meet Sharon half way from our home to either play at your house or ours. Going to School and attending different functions in Del Bonita. I also worked with Meryl at the Indian Hospital in Cardston in the Admin Office and would love to watch her run that old adding machine….I have never seen anyone punch the keys with that much vigor and accuracy for sure…she used to tell me that I better quit watching her and get my work done…hahah. I am sorry that none of our family will be able to attend you mom’s funeral and celebration of life. I spoke with Darlene this morning and she has a busy day with company coming and Donna company as well & will be visiting Dixie who is recuperating from 2 heart valve replacements…and is now in Leth. hospital. Dorsey is struggling with her knees and has to walk with a walker most always…Della is in Athabasca and I have had hips and knee surgeries as well…but we are all still ticking. I hope your families are doing well and send our Sympathy & Love to you and we will always think of your mom with fond memories. Hope to see you down the road one day… The Diebert Girls…. Donna Pitcher, Della McLean, Dixie Diebert, Darlene Scott, Debbie Zuback, Dorsey Jaworsky.
