MCINROY

JERRY CARL MCINROY, beloved husband of Dawna McInroy, of Lethbridge, fought the brave battle of Cancer. He passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s PCU with his family at his side on Monday, August 27th, 2018, at the age of 57 years.

Jerry was predeceased by his grandparents, parents, and in-laws.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dawna, one son, Steven, of Lethbridge, one daughter, Krista (Ray) of Shilo, Manitoba, one grandson that was his pride and joy, Hunter, one brother, Howard (Shelly) of Langley, B.C., two sisters, Karen of Langley and Brenda (Al) Callendar of Agassiz, B.C. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces, his childhood friends, Kirk Cameron and Richard Cook. Last but not least is his dog, Mojo.

Jerry, otherwise known as Finger, was employed in the many sides of construction for over 35 years. He always did things backwards but got the job done one way or another. Jerry and Dawna were married April 18, 1998. He accomplished much in his life, including raising two children. He loved to travel and enjoyed his most recent trip to Shilo, MB (for the first time). His quiet courage, strength for life, creativity, and sense of humor will be carried forward by those who knew and loved him. His unique sense of humor was with him until the very end.

A Celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 – Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Friday, August 31st, at 10:30. He will then be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery. A time of fellowship & refreshments will follow at the family home.
