ANDREW “ANDY” GEORGE KUNTZ, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Beverly Kuntz, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the age of 82 years.

Andrew will be forever missed by his daughter Sheina (Scott) Russell and their children Terra (Kevin) [Seth, Griffin and Callie] McCulloch and Kassy (Aaron) [Rory, Emery and Greer] Shak; daughter Renee (Sergio) Cattoni and their children Colby (Greg) Gaudette and Matteo Cattoni; and daughter Kelly (Mike) Balaz and their children Justin Morton (Lana), Madison (Darcy) [Nate] and Dylan and Brett Dunlop, and Amanda Balaz, one sister in law Pat Dennis (Colleen Baker) as well as Roger Dunlop and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his loving wife, Beverly, Andrew was predeceased by his son Bobby Kuntz, grandson Rory Russell, and mother-in-law Dorothy McArady.

Andrew was born on February 21, 1936 in Estevan, Saskatchewan, to Peter and Margaret Kuntz. He was the brother of Barbara (George) Erick, Mike (Gloria) Kuntz, Frank (Wendy) Kuntz and Billy (Shirley) Kuntz.

Dad was loved by all and was born with the gift of gab. He never forgot anyone he met. His favourite words were “gorgeous” and “beautiful” and he used them often. We adored our dad and know how proud he was of each and every one of us! He loved the cabin at Lake Newell and liked nothing better than to have each and every one of us and his siblings to show up, whether it was to go boating or to have numerous card or dice games, and maybe a drink or two! Dad loved life and lived it to the fullest, whether with family or friends, an afternoon at Smitty’s or harvesting at the farm east of Coutts.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at ROCKY MOUNTAIN TURF CLUB GRANDSTAND, 3401 Parkside Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 2:00 P.M.

In memory of Andrew, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #200, 119 – 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB, T2N 1Z6, or to a charity of your choice.
