1934 – 2018

Mrs. Doris Flamand, of Warner, beloved wife of Mr. Paul Flamand, passed away surrounded by her family at Chinook Regional Hospital, on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Doris was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK. She met the love of her life Paul Flamand later in her life in Prince Albert, then later on they moved to southern alberta. On August 8, 1972 Paul and Doris got married and blended their families while working on Doenz Ranches in Warner, Alberta. Once settling into the community, the family moved into the town of Warner where Doris became an active member of the community, by being involved with events through the Warner Fire Department, Volker Stevin, and TOPS. Throughout the years, Doris enjoyed every chance she had to be with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren they were all the apples of her eye. With the many memorable years spent in Warner and there are a lot of memories to be shared and remembered by all of her family and friends. Besides her loving husband Paul, Doris is survived by her daughter Donna Pyne; sons Darrell (Marlais) Ross, Larry Ross and step-daughter Merlyn Gladue-Smith; grandchildren Judy (Rob Calder) Pyne, Cathy (Wyatt) Whillans, Harold (Ashley Sugimoto) Pyne, Rachel Reed, Shanita Hepworth, Brandon Smith; great-grandchildren Destiny Calder, Jesse Calder, James Reed, and Jackson Reed. Doris was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Margaret Conant and son-in-law Robert Pyne. Community and Friends are invited to Celebrate Doris’ Life at 2:00pm on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the ELKS COMMUNITY HALL, Warner, Alberta. Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
