Mrs. Linda Joyce Osko nee Challenger of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Kazimierz “Kaz” Osko, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the age of 70 years. Linda was born in the Lethbridge Galt Hospital on December 26, 1947 to Victor and Bernice Challenger. She lived in Lethbridge where she met her husband Kaz while drag racing on Mayor Magrath Drive and they were later married in 1969. Linda enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, watching movies, embroidery, going out to eat, shopping, and crafts. She loved spending time with her grand-daughter Grayson and she was always there to help her daughters and grand-daughter with anything they needed. She had a special love for animals and spent the last 6 years of her life caring for her cat, Mack. “Her presence in their lives will be missed with great sadness.” Linda is survived by her daughters Sherry (Lloyd) Dieser, Brandy Osko; mother-in-law Lucyna Osko; grandchild Grayson Dieser; brothers Allan (Shirley) Challenger, Tom Challenger; half bother Willy (Bernadette) Arndt; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her loving husband Kazimierz “Kaz” Osko, Linda was predeceased by her parents Victor Challenger and Bernice Arndt; daughter Brenda Osko; grandson Shai Dieser, stepfather Bert Arndt and father-in-law Marian Osko. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 8:00pm on Friday, October 26, 2018 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY, 1210 Scenic Drive South, Lethbridge, Alberta.
