Maggie was born August 8, 1953 in Cuauhtemoc, México. At age four and a half, Maggie, with her family, pioneered to Belize where she lived until 1981 when Maggie and her children moved to Canada. Maggie started her career in nursing, moving later into massage therapy. John and Maggie met in May 1996 for a picnic. It was so special to them that they celebrated every year thereafter with a picnic in the park. They married in 1997.
