FORBES

Judith Carol Forbes (Selkirk, Petherbridge) passed away suddenly yet peacefully on May 1, 2019.

Her beloved husband Al and her family were by her side.

Judi lived her life to the highest quality to her very last day, in service to God, her family and her community.

She was loved and cherished by her husband Al, her brothers, sisters, children, grand children and everyone who knew her. She will live on in our hearts and inspire us forever.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday May 5, 2019 at McKillop United Church at 3:00pm

In lieu of gifts or flowers please make any donations to McKillop United Church.

  1. Sandy Anderson says:

I was very sad to hear of Judy’s sudden passing via another former colleague from SIAST in Prince Albert. Judy and I worked closely together for several years at the Learning Center downtown. You couldn’t ask for a better teaching partner than Judy-always ready to share materials, do more than her share of the work, and most importantly having a positive attitude & playful wit while getting our job done. “Being silly” together made each day a lot of fun, which our students also appreciated.
I always admired Judy for her commitment to physical activity, alternative approaches to healing, love of family, and strong faith in God. I am really sorry that I lost touch with her, but about a year ago we moved to rent a condo on the river just three lots west of where Judy used to live, and it’s kind of ironic but have thought of her almost every time I’m heading north on 6th Ave. & turning west at her old place which she absolutely loved! Judy truly made a difference in the lives of all who knew her.

  2. Bob Campbell says:

Judy was a very special lady. It was an honour to know her. She participated in several of my meditation retreats. She will be missed .
