CURLY RIDER

Psalm 25:1-2&4 “Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.”

On June 29, 2019 our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, PAULINE CURLY RIDER, at the age of 62 was called home by our Heavenly Father. Through her faith and confidence in our Heavenly Father, Pauline continued to be the strong, kind-natured person through her ailing health. Friends and family considered her a fun, loving, patient and understanding person and will be greatly missed. Pauline loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren, always bringing laughter and joy to them and everyone else. An amazing and wonderful woman who loved life. She enjoyed the travels she has taken with family, especially looking forward to her favorite place, Arizona. One of her favorite things to do with her grandchildren was go to thrift stores. She also had a very humorous and silly nature to her which made her so enjoyable to be with and surely a funny memory will be lovingly remembered.

Pauline was raised by her late parents, Jack and Maggie Curly Rider in Little Chicago, Blood Reserve. She attended Cardston Elementary and High School. She worked hard for her family throughout her life by attaining an education and working at numerous organizations on the Blood Reserve. She worked at Blood Tribe Land Management, then she enrolled in the Business Management program and attained her diploma in 1989, then began working at Blood Tribe Outreach as an accountant. She worked for a number of years and returned to Lethbridge College to attain the Child and Youth Care diploma in 2005. She then went on to work at several different departments at Kainai Children Services.
