TURNER

It is with profound sadness and pain in our hearts that we announce the unexpected but peaceful passing of Carole Ann Turner (nee Delmark) on Monday, September 16th, 2019 at the age of 75. Carole is survived by her daughter Sheri (Tony), sons Wayne (Gail) of Lethbridge, Ric of Calgary, brother Bill (Freda) of Maple Ridge, BC, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her beloved brat of a cat, Gizmo. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Helen at a young age, husband Ed and her three sisters Rae, Shirley and Doreen. She was a devoted loving mother and nana; a role in which she cherished and was proud of. Carole had a heart of gold and it showed in how she took care of those all around her. She loved spending time with her family and friends, sitting outside soaking up the warmth of the sun, gardening, camping and traveling. Carole loved the Christmas season and it could not come fast enough for her and often, the decorations would sneakily appear throughout the house very early. She also was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and spent many years being involved and assisting where she could. Mom will be greatly missed by all of us left behind but we take great comfort in knowing she has been reunited with the many loved ones who had gone before her that she dearly missed. At Carole’s request, there will be no funeral service (cremation has taken place) and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, we graciously ask that donations be made in her name via etransfer at lethbridge.noka@gmail.com or by cheque to: NOKA (No-Kill Animal Association) c/o Shirley Fleming 2424 – 22 Street North Lethbridge AB T1H 4Y7

One Condolence for “TURNER, Carole”

  1. Wendy Hammerback says:

To Sheri and all Carole’s family my deepest sympathies. Carole will be truly missed, such a kind and giving Mother, Grandmother and Friend. She was my sidekick for the Fellowship Committee at Immanuel Lutheran Church for many years. I enjoyed her company and all her knowledge during the hours of preparation in the kitchen. She was a good friend and I will miss her terribly. May God bless Carole, may his light shine upon her and give her family peace. God Bless, Wendy (Calgary, Alberta)
