Shortly after the loss of her son Tommy, Edna was diagnosed with cancer. Edna fought to survive and was able to spend two more years with her grandchildren. Edna was so proud of her grandchildren and all of their accomplishment. She never missed a birthday, special occasion or milestone and was always there to support them.

Against the odds in her final fight of her illness, Edna mustered the strength to call each of her grandchildren by name to tell them that she loves them. These children were the core of Edna’s world. Edna would consistently FaceTime or phone her grandchildren.

One Condolence for “MANY FINGERS, Edna”

  1. Lisa Rose No Runner (Roni) says:

Suzy, my deepest condolences to you and your family, I remember visiting Audrey and Connie when we were teens and you were such a cute little girl – you had curly hair and missing teeth! Both you and your brother Tommy were so loved by everyone at your grandma and grandpa’s house!

Your mom was so kind and friendly, she had so much charisma and that’s what attracted people to her. Edna was truly a wonderful, loving person and I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. All my prayers to you and your family.
