Henry Robert Steven Babiuk – ‘Bob’ of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by family on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at the age of 61 years.

Bob is survived by his sister Connie and brother-in-law Ernie, nieces and cousins in Medicine Hat. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Irene Babiuk.

Bob was well known by the city bus drivers and his involvement with the Ability Resource Centre and SACLA for 40+ years. He loved movies and live theatre (New West Theatre). Bob was known as the “Walking Weatherman”. He loved to be active, especially walking everywhere, he loved watching bowling, visiting with people and day trips. He was also artistic.

A Funeral Service for Bob will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Christensen Salmon GENERATIONS Funeral Home, 703 – 13 Street North, Lethbridge. A Viewing will be held prior to the service from 1:00 – 1:50 p.m. Please wear masks.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society through www.support.cancer.ca

    Connie. Sorry to hear of the death of your brother Bob. He was always very interested in everything and everyone. He was amazing with dates and names. I worked with him at Rehab for quite some time. He never forgot and would always say hi where and whenever he saw me, including at church. Rest in peace dear friend. 🙏

    I’m terribly sorry I’ll miss seeing Robert talking to him love his jokes and kind words loved it when he asks me how I’m doing and what I’m doing today he always made my day feel special I miss him already Rest In Peace Robert prayers and blessings to you all was so wonderful to know Robert
