SHAW
FLORENCE “BETSY” SHAW passed away peacefully on Thursday July 16, 2020 at Fairmont Extendicare at the age of 91 years.
Betsy was born in Raymond, Alberta to Frank and Alice Shaw, the fourth of six children.
She is survived by her sister Lavonne (Murray) Pack and sister in law Janice Shaw, numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends whom she loved dearly.
She was predeceased by her brothers Winston (Lucille) Shaw, Kenneth (Carrol) Shaw, sister Lorraine (Jack) Baile and Alan Pete Shaw.
The family would like to thank the wonderful care givers at Fairmont Extendicare, for the love and patience they showed our sister over the past few years.
Friends are welcome to meet with the family on Friday July 24, 2020 from 7:00 to 8:00pm at SALMON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME (433 Stubb Ross Road South, Lethbridge). Due to the restrictions on public gatherings, please wait in your vehicle until a staff member comes to get you, also please wear a mask if possible.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday July 25, 2020 at TEMPLE HILL CEMETERY (Raymond). The Service will be recorded and placed online, following the service (www.salmonandsons.ca) for those who are unable to attend.

So sorry I was not able to attend Betsy’s viewing. kaye and I loved visiting with Betsy and know how much she loved her family! That was often the topic of conversation when she felt up to visiting. She endeared herself to us and we looked forward to spending time with her and loved her. So glad she was an influence in my life and know she is pain free and on to an even better life. You, Lavonne, were her anchor!
