Trained as a nurse at Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary, worked in Taber. Moved to Ventura, California with Marian Jorgenson of Turin and Coleen Murray of Warner. Moved to Italy as a school nurse, came home and worked at Milk River until her accident. Went to BC University and trained as a Social Worker in Vernon.
Survived by brothers Jim (Helen), Ed (Gloria), sister Margaret. Deceased by her parents Katie and Clarence Betts, brother in law Vince and sister Mary.
Funeral service on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM, in Milk River with Father Salvador Ahumada. COVID-19 restrictions in place.
