It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of DENNIS MOSES FROMM The Man, The Myth, The Legend… on October 10th, 2020 at the age of 77.
Denny will be forever remembered by his loving wife Kay, his children, Marty (Jannie) Fromm, Brady Fromm (deceased) and Dionne (Randy) Ellingson.
He will be deeply missed by the apples of his eyes, his 9 grandchildren, Ryan (Jessie) Fromm, Amy (Travis) Allen, Casey (Kendra) Fromm, Shelby Fromm, Paige (Cole) Nelson, Dillon (Sarah) Ellingson, Kash Ellingson, Rhett Ellingson, and Bradee Ellingson.
Along with his 14 precious great grandchildren, Jaxen, Will, Brady and Sunnie Fromm, Hudson and Harvey Allen, Stone and Ozzie Fromm, Vance, Norah, Quinn and Clay Nelson, Rowen (deceased) and Albany Ellingson.
Denny was the oldest of 12 children and will lovingly be remembered by them. Dixie (Donny) Sudo, Vinnie (Chris) Jensen, Mona (Gordon) Powelson, Norma (Tom) Allen, Morris, Peggy (Kirk) Sorley, Ginger (Morris) Aneca, Lloyd , Danna (deceased), Ronny (Barbara) Fromm and Kenny (Corinne) Fromm, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Denny lived his whole life in Raymond Alberta. He started his working career as an Autobody Mechanic, Mechanic, selling farm equipment, running a skidoo dealership at Raymond Motors, then eventually built his own garage in his backyard, where he continued to work until his passing.
He was a master at his craft, He could fix absolutely anything, his hands were magic.
Denny lived a very full and adventurous life. The Man who did it ALL, with such passion and commitment. His accomplishments were too many to mention. One of his mottos in life was to Work Hard and Play Hard.
His life was dedicated to hard work of over 60 years. He taught this trait by example. He exemplified perserverance, loyalty and commitment.
Denny was a friend to all, young and old. To know him was to love him. He had such huge impacts on individual lives, his people skills were immeasurable. His stories were mesmerizing and his wit and humor were contagious.
He was a man of great faith, who loved the Lord, with an unwavering testimony of the gospel.
Denny’s greatest accomplishments here on this earth were his family, definitely his most treasured possessions. He loved each one of them more than life itself. So proud of each one of them. He would get emotional every time he would talk of them.
He loved his Katie, seldom saw one without the other. There will be a huge void in our lives as we try to adjust to his absence. Words can’t adequately express our sorrow.
We love you Grandpa Denny!!! You are our HERO!!
Friends may meet the family ONLY on Friday October 16, 2020 from 7:00 – 8:00pm at the RAYMOND STAKE CENTER (2 North 200 West, Raymond Alberta).
Due to the covid-19 restrictions, a private Service will be held on Saturday October 17, 2020 at 11:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints RAYMOND STAKE CENTER. Interment to follow at the Temple Hill Cemetery. To view the Service online, a link will be provided at www.salmonandsons.ca on Saturday.

Denny had a way to make you feel special. I would not have considered to be very close with him, but when I saw him, he always acknowledged me. I appreciated his friendship with my parents. My dad often told me of exploits in which Denny was a part of. I especially appreciated the love and support we felt seven years ago when my dad passed away. We wish you all peace and love at this time.
