DAVID HOGG, 92, of Cardston passed away peacefully in his home on 28 October, 2020. He leaves behind to miss him his cherished wife and best friend of 73 years Fon (Burgess) Hogg and four children, Darla (Linn) Jensen, Blaine (Dienna) Hogg, Karen (George) Toone, Marlin (Chris) Hogg, 22 grand-children, 45 great-grandchildren, his brothers Bob (Jill) and Jim (Stella) Hogg. He is predeceased by his parents, David and Mary (Archibald) Hogg, his brother John (Verna) Hogg, his sister Doreen (Larry) Grey, his daughter-in-law Neta Hogg and his son-in-law George Toone.

David was born in Inverkeithing, Scotland and came to Canada as a 2-year-old when his parents immigrated to Canada in search of better opportunities. He cherished his family and was always there when his family or friends needed him. We will miss him dearly. He loved people, he loved to visit with everyone, and he loved to help anyone. In return for his kindness, people loved him, and he will be missed by many, many people whose lives he has touched.

Friends may meet the family at Legacy Funeral Home from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral.

Due to Covid-19, and to respect our mother’s health, a Private Family Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home.

Interment to follow in the Cardston Cemetery.
