Buella May

May 03, 1929 – October 04, 2020

Buella May Chervinski passed away peacefully at Cedar Creek Lodge on October 4, at the age of 91.

Our beloved mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully after a full life of 91 years.

Buella was predeceased by her husband Adam and their two sons Leonard and Ken. Buella will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Jean, grandsons Jason, Riley (Natasha), grand daughter Robyn (Thomas) Calvert, great grandchildren Mya, Kenna, Logan.

She is also survived by her niece and special friend, Patricia May and long time best friend Val. Buella was born in Eastend, Sask, and raised In Lethbridge and in 1950 she married Adam “Ab” Abraham Chervinski and later moved to Taber where they raised their three children and opened a Antique store which gave them a great opportunity to meet and be involved in the community. 1992 they moved back to Lethbridge where Buella became very active in Nordbridge Seniors’ Centre. As an avid sports fan she enjoyed watching all sports on TV. She had a season ticket for her beloved Hurricanes Hockey Team and when they scored Buella could be seen enthusiastically ringing her bell. Buella was also an avid gardener and loved surrounding her home with beautiful flowers.

The family thanks the Staff of Cedar Creek for the amazing and compassionate care in her final days. Also many thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Martha’s House and the friends who made her feel so comfortable and very happy during her stay 2014 – 2020.

Buella will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers we ask that a donation be made to the Cancer Assoc. or to a Charity of your choice. RIP
