HASLAM

ROBERT HASLAM, 77, passed away peacefully after a battle with ALS on Thursday, January 7, 2021.

Devoted husband of 45 years to Lydia. Father to Lisa Trentham, Sarah (Kade) Holladay, Cory Pappenheim, and Steve Haslam. Grandfather to Sydney, Matthew, Brody, Ryan, Ethan, Kaylee, Morgan and Isaac.

Siblings, Kent, Patti, Bruce, Jerry, and Jay.

Born in Santa Monica, California then moved to Taber. Served three years in the U.S. military, where he served two tours in Vietnam. He graduated from Utah State University with a teaching degree and then taught math and science for 5 years in Weippe, Idaho, and for 25 years in Morrin Alberta. Bob was also a volunteer fireman in Morrin for many years. Moved to Lethbridge in 2001. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Many thanks to the ALS Clinic in Calgary and the Home care and palliative team in Lethbridge for their amazing kindness and service, along with our family and friends who have been a great support.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 16, 2021 at 11:00am at SALMON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME. To watch the live stream of the Service please visit the Salmon and Sons Website.

A Visitation will be held at SALMON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME on Friday January 15, 2021 from 7:00 to 8:00pm. Due to Covid Restrictions, attendance will be limited to 10 guests at a time. Please register by calling Salmon and Sons Funeral Home. Facemasks are mandatory.
