HEALY

ARNOLD HEALY, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Sunday March 21, 2021 at the age of 64 years.

Arnold is survived by his children: Chelsea Across the Mountain (Marcus), Beverly Mills (Wendall) and Ryan Mills (Lucy); his grandchildren Maliyah, Tylynn, River, Harley, Kaisley, Jason, and Arielle, as Dad was always ready for babysitting duties; his siblings; Robert, Brian (Delana), Verna, Wilma, and Cindy (Wally); and his aunties Pearl, Sheila, Judy and Barbra. He was predeceased by his son, AJ Healy-Forsyth and adopted daughter Monica Mills; his parents, Jim Hunt and Maureen Healy; siblings: Melva (Joe), Billy, Shirley (Tom), Ronnie, and Shelly; his uncles and aunt: Bernard, Pete, and Sophie; and his grandparents: Bob & Lost Bird Hunt, Art Healy Sr. (Betty) & Marie (Willie Mills) Bumble Bee.

He was an accomplished artist throughout his life, excelling in many different techniques. In his early years, he was a farm hand with his dad in the Raymond area. He also lived with Barnabus & Shirley Tallman. He attended St. Patrick’s, Raymond School, and later at St. Mary’s Kainai High School, where he graduated and played basketball and football. In recent years, he completed the Blackfoot Lodge TIPI Family training course. He was spiritually active in the art of drum making in all styles, leading a sober (13 years) and humble life. Everyone was welcome at dads. It was a safe haven for many, including his adopted children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews; Johanna, Jolaine, Kayla, Jolene, Shay, Benjamin, Charles, Kelsey, Nigel, Kyle, and Brian Trev. His extended family included numerous aunties and uncles; Hunt, Healy, Tallman, Chief Body, Eagle Child, Scout, Jerry, Melting Tallow, Mills, Bottle, Brave Rock, Buckskins, & Nice Cutter. He also had many friends downtown Lethbridge, thanks to Streets Alive Mission and Shelter, and LDS Church. The family apologizes for any names missed.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. The service will be live streamed and may be accessed via Arnold’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.

Arnold will be laid to rest in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
