Brett Dunne

2001 – 2021

Brett Marshall Allen Dunne of Lethbridge, was taken tragically from us far too soon, on Friday, May 21, 2021 two weeks short of his 20th birthday.

Brett entered our world on June 3, 2001 here in Lethbridge. He had a rough time early on being diagnosed with cancer at 7 1/2 months. He fought through and was very proud to be a cancer survivor.

Brett did all his schooling in Lethbridge, graduating from CCH in 2019. He played various sports including soccer, baseball, ball hockey and bowling. As a teenager he was an avid soccer player and fan.

Brett was truly a social butterfly. He had too many friends to count and loved his family dearly. He looked up to his big brother right from a very early age and in recent times enjoyed working on their vehicle together and cruising. They enjoyed camping trips, just the two of them, and had more adventures planned.

Brett will be deeply missed by his mother, Melanie Dunne; father Tim (Renee) Dunne; brother Braedan Dunne; step sisters Danielle Bateman, Briana Bateman (Brandon Derksen); step niece and nephew Charlie and Bentley Derksen,; grandparents Marshall and Evangeline Jaremco, Allen and Velma Dunne. He will be remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
