Kathleen (Kay) Croteau DOB Oct. 2/1924 – beloved wife of Dovey Croteau passed away peacefully July 17, 2021 at the age of 96.
Kay was predeceased by her husband of 42 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her children; Leslie (Floyd) Cody of Milk River; Laurie Mudie of Calgary; Wendy (Wayne) Telcs of Edm., Shannon (Don) Watson of Calgary; grandchildren Sheryl (Mal) Cody Eskelson, Michelle Cody, Adrienne (Shawn) McClusky, Matthew Cody, Stephen (Jennifer) Cody, Jennifer (Craig) Pichach, Linda (William) Tober, Shanna (Brian) Phair, Teagan (Chris) Patterson-Telcs, Conner Watson, Meagan Watson.
Kay graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing & entered her career as a health nurse. First in Assiniboia then moving to Warner where she met her life partner. They enjoyed life on the family farm and in retirement travelled to Arizona for the winter.
Kay lived an active lifestyle & enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, quilting, square & round dancing, O.O.R.P. & card games. She always looked forward to & enjoyed her family. There was always cookies for the littles and her specialty – choc angel food cake – made with love for every birthday celebration.
She will be deeply missed, especially her quick smile, wit & use of a soft hand & empathy to those in need.
You were our very own Wonder Woman. Dance on those clouds with Dad and we will see you again someday.
