  3. Layne WHipple says:

We lost another Lethbridge icon of the automotive industry this week and one of my mentors. I have known Gerry since 1970 and have been friends with him all this time.

He taught me numerous facts of life, about friendship, business, racing and a shit load of mechanical things. When I first met Gerry he was running Dieppe Service on 28th Street South. He was a businessman and I was a 15 year old hippy freak, but he treated me very well.

I will always remember the times that I spent in that building, seeing his smiling face and gentle words. I then dealt with him for years as my customer when I ran C.E.P. Automotive. He will truly be missed.

My condolences to the entire Anderson family.
