JUDY ASAKO JACKSON, the beloved wife of Brian Jackson, of Lethbridge, passed away with her family at her side on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, at the age of 63 years.

Judy was predeceased by Tom Hirashima (father) and Denise Fress (sister). She is survived by her loving husband, Brian, son, Nick (Ana) Jackson of Dallas, TX, granddaughter, Valentina Jackson, mother, Marie Hirashima of Lethbridge, AB, sister, Donna (Richard) LaPlace of Canmore, AB, niece, Nicole LaPlace, mother-in-law, Betty Jackson of Lethbridge, AB, as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Judy was so proud to have the honor of being called “Bachan”. She loved travelling to Texas to see her granddaughter Valentina, her pride and joy. Her most recent trip was July of 2021. Judy had a wonderful personality, always being full of laughter and the joy of life. She loved to bake, play games and cards. She was definitely loved for her humor and generous spirit. Her life is the definition of true compassion and love.

Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, on Sunday, November 7th, from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 8th at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at the Royal View Cemetery, Lethbridge. Due to the current COVID situation, the service will be live-streamed. To access the live-stream, a link will be provided on Judy’s obituary on Cornerstone’s website.

Donations can be sent to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada on behalf of Judy.

    Brian and family….so sorry to hear of Judy’s passing. We always had so much fun when we were with you guys. Remember when a few of us couples stayed at a hotel on the way home from somewhere and Judy had brought those cinnamon roll ups and we ate so many….they were so good!
