PETERSON

It is with deep sorrow that the family of MICHAEL B. PETERSON, beloved husband of Kennedy Peterson (née Jensen), announces his passing on November 30, 2021.

Mike is the proud father of William (15), Jack (13), Findlay (10), and Samuel (6). Mike is survived by his father, Rodney Clifford Peterson and his wife Diane, four younger brothers, Ryan (Alisha), Darren (Chris), Brent (Katlyn), and Jason (Bryanna), as well as 20 nieces and nephews.

Mike is predeceased by his mother Marilyn Jean Peterson, grandparents Jack and Ione Winkler, grandfather Clifford Jr. Peterson, and nephew Bronson Peterson.

Born in Lethbridge, Alberta on August 5, 1979, Mike remained in Southern Alberta for most of his life. Mike was an active member of his church, for which he served a two year mission to Japan. On his return, Mike sought out his education, met his wife, started and operated a successful business, and raised his family in Lethbridge.

Growing up, Mike demonstrated creativity through drawing and music. He doodled cartoons, played the saxophone, and sang in choirs. Mike was an avid movie lover and critic. He loved golfing with his father, his brothers, and his sons. As his boys grew, Mike spent snowy winter days taking them skiing and snowboarding, as well as hiking and camping in the summer months. Mike was incredibly proud of his boys and loved spending time with his wife.

Mike was usually the funniest person in the room. He was sweet, thoughtful, and most importantly, kind. Mike will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.
