Edwin Arthur Miller

May 13, 1952 – January 7, 2022

A man with a heart of gold. A man seen by many. Riding his bike with his satchel under his arm, with many stories to be shared. To his family he was much more. Ed was a licensed mechanic that held 2 red seals in light duty and heavy-duty mechanic. Earning the honors of the Lebaron Award of mechanics. Edwin Miller had a love for motorsport at a young age. Feeding a passion to his young brothers that has lasted nearly 40 years and on to a second generation. He would always be at the shop for an hour or so early to do a final check underneath the truck and trailer to make sure the family would have a safe trip. When the team would return home, Edwin would pedal to the car wash to just hear how the weekend went and wash the car and do what was needed. Loading up in the rain, unloading the car in the cold. Ed was always there for his family. Ed has finished his race in life, holding up the checkered flags in our eyes.

Now Ed is free to go and to travel with the one’s he loved. One day, we will meet again in victory lane to share out stories.

Ed is survived by his sister Shirley (Harold Nykyforuk) Miller of Magrath; brothers Larry Miller of Edmonton, Donald (Sandy Chow Miller) Miller of Lethbridge; 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Besides his parents Frank and Marjorie Miller, Ed was predeceased by his sister Susan Koma and brother-in-law Larry Koma both of Shaughnessy.

Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
