EDNA PLUMPTON, beloved wife of Harold Plumpton, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Health Centre, on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 92 years.
Edna was born in Widnes, Lancashire, England, on December 4, 1929. She met her husband Harold at a dance, something they both loved, and they were married in 1951. Edna and Harold moved to Canada in 1956, where they settled.
Edna loved many things in her life, but concentrated on her family, singing, her ladies coffee group, travelling and volunteering.
Edna is survived by her husband of almost 71 years, Harold; her son James (Wanda); brothers Colin (Sheila) and Allan, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At Edna’s request no funeral service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.

So very sorry for your loss. Edna and I were friends through McKillop UCW. I gave her a ride to some of our functions and I tried to keep in touch with her after she was unable to attend. We sure had some fun phone visits with lots of giggles. I’ll always remember her wonderful laugh. She was so proud of Harold’s woodworking and I loved getting to see it! Rest In Peace my dear friend
