BETTY BLY CLIFTON passed away on Sunday June 19, 2022, at the Raymond Hospital in Raymond Alberta. Betty was born on September 2, 1934, to Harold and Irene Bly in Magrath Alberta.

Betty was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward (Ted) Clifton, in 2014 after 60 years of marriage. Betty will be sadly missed by her children, Craig (Terry) Clifton, Janet (Corwyn) Miller, Brent (Shauna) Clifton and Carroll (Tim) Bullock.

Betty enjoyed spending time with her children and her 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Betty loved Family History and helped many people with finding their ancestors. Betty was known for her love of Christmas and her beautiful yard in the summer.

Betty was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was called to serve in various callings within the church throughout her life. Betty and Ted in 1994 served a full-time mission in the McAllen Texas Mission.

During their lives, Betty and Ted travelled to various destinations around the world with friends and family. One of the highlights was their trip to Israel and Egypt.

Betty’s love for her Savior was evident to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ken Dahl and the Dahl Clinic for their attentive care of our mother over the last few years, along with the Raymond Hospital Nurses and staff who showed Mom such great care and love during the last few weeks of her life.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday June 23, 2022 at 11:00 am, at the MAGRATH STAKE CENTRE in Magrath, Alberta with Bishop Tim Sabey officiating. There will be a meet the family on Wednesday evening, only, from 7:00-8:00 pm at the GARDEN PLACE CHAPEL in Magrath, Alberta. The interment will precede the funeral services in the Magrath Cemetery.
