VREDEGOOR-MORRIS MARIA THEODORA VREDEGOOR-MORRIS, aka Marie, of Raymond, passed away at the Good Samaritans Prairie Ridge in Raymond, on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the age of 82 years.
Marie is survived by her one son, Rene, who was adopted by her brother Mike and his wife Lois Vredegoor. She is also survived by sisters: Henny Raats, Anne (Conrad) Verbaas, and Lena Vredegoor; brothers Hank (Agi) Vredegoor and Gary (Jennie Van Spronson) Vredegoor, sisters-in-law: Anne Marie Vredegoor and Dora Vredegoor as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Gerarda Vredegoor; sisters: Diane Berns and Helena Vredegoor; brothers Everett, Martin, Ben, Father Sylvester Vredegoor and Mike Vredegoor; sister-in-law Mary Vredegoor and brothers-in-law Ted Berns and Tony Raats.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with Patrick Siedlecki officiating. The Funeral Service will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Marie’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.
Following the Funeral Service, Marie will be laid to rest with her parents in Mountain View Cemetery.
