WASTLE, Bryan

Posted: July 22nd, 2023

BRYAN WASTLE 1953 – 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Bryan Ross Wastle, a man as tough as nails and as ruggedly individualistic as only a long-time bachelor can be. Bryan’s gruff exterior was complemented by an immense heart that made him easy to befriend and even easier to care deeply about. On July 18th, 2023 Bryan left this world, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories.
Bryan’s greatest pride and joy were his beloved daughters, Katie D’Aoust and Laura Wastle, who held a special place in his heart. He was a doting grandfather to McKenzie D’Aouste, Hayden D’Aouste, and Juliana Crow, showering them with love and affection. Throughout his life, Bryan was a well-known figure in the construction world. Anyone who crossed paths with him has a story to tell – some of which were shared openly, and others reserved for a more private audience. Yet, all of his tales were seasoned with humor, leaving a lasting impression on those who heard them. In his leisure, Bryan found solace in the art of fly fishing, often venturing to the scenic Castles River to pursue this passion. A man of true grit, in his earlier years he fearlessly navigated the outdoors, driving his trusty 4×4 Ford onto his next adventure.
Bryan’s legacy will be guarded by his two brothers, Keith and Neil, who shared a close bond with him, particularly in their hometown of Lethbridge.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
