COTE, Donald “Don”

DONALD PHILLIP COTE July 21, 1950 – May 11, 2025 Don Cote 74 of Lethbridge, AB., beloved husband of Linda Luco Cote passed away on May 11, 2025 in his favourite place Bucerias, Mexico.
Don is survived by his wife Linda, her children Chris and Kevin and Don’s children step daughter Ciana, step daughter Sara Clark (Phill) their children Ryan, Krystina, Destiny, son Parry, daughters Terra and Clearissa, siblings Ken Cote (Rita), Dave Cote, Karen Sykes (Ed) and Linda Cote. Don is also survived by grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his Dad (Leo), Mom (Velma), brother (Rick) and sister-in-law (Bonnie).
Don was born in Lethbridge and lived in Hardieville and Lethbridge area all his life. He has had many interests in his life cars, Volkswagen Beetles, gardening, tinkering in his shop and most of all loved his adventures in Mexico. Don had many stories to tell and his friends loved to listen to them. Don was loved and respected by all who knew him for his kindness, integrity, honesty and most of all his quirky sense of humour.
We will miss his warm and genuine smile.
A celebration will be held on July 21, 2025 which would have been his 75th birthday. More info to follow. Those who wish may make a donation to any animal rescue.
