SMALLWOOD-ANDERSON CALARA SUZANNA SMALLWOOD-ANDERSON, affectionately known as Suzi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the young age of 62 years.
Suzi was a devoted wife to her loving husband of 36 years, Brian Anderson, and a cherished mother to their son, Craig Anderson. She shared a close bond with her sister Leslie Fox (Mike) and niece Jessica Vredegoor.
Suzi was predeceased by her brother, Reggie Smallwood, and her parents Bridget and Reginald Smallwood.
Suzi was born in St. John ‘s, Newfoundland on July 8th, 1962. Her life was marked by her warm heart, generous spirit and unwavering ability to listen without judgment.
Suzi’s professional life was distinguished by her achievement as a Red Seal Chef. Her culinary skills were celebrated by many, and her passion for cooking was surpassed only by her love for her family and friends. In every meal she prepared, Suzi infused her caring nature and joy, creating a legacy that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
A person of deep empathy and understanding, Suzi was known for her nurturing spirit and the warmth she extended to everyone she met. Her ability to connect with others and offer a listening ear made her a cherished confidant and friend to many.
With the loss of Suzi, she will be missed tremendously and never forgotten. Her laughter will forever live in our hearts.

    I’m so sorry to hear of Suzi’s passing. It’s been a long time since we spent time together. She looked after my daughter Cassandra for awhile. We had many laughs together along with Myra Spitzer. My deepest sympathy to her family, Brian & Craig.

    I have known Suzi since junior high, we had alot of laughs over the years .
    I will miss bringing her flowers whenever I came to lethbridge.
