TOLLESTRUP Dr. Wally R. Tollestrup, beloved husband of Diane Tollestrup of Raymond, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the age of 72 years.
Friends may meet the family on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 beginning at 7:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Raymond Stake Centre (2N 200W) or prior to the service at the church on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 10:00 to 10:50 am.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at the Raymond Stake Centre with Bishop Kevin Wert officiating. Interment will follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.

My first memory of Wally was back in high school when Raymond was consistently beating our Rams at basketball (and he was one of the reasons!) My second memory was when he graduated from Med School in 1977 my wife and I (both RNs) were “tying the knot”…and shortly after seeing him appear on the Surgical Ward of the then Lethbridge Municipal Hospital…white lab coat, tall, keen and incredibly polite. My first impression (as was my wife’s) was he was going to be caring and easy to get along with….we were not disappointed…To the Family we offer our condolecences and keep only the good memories as they will sustain you at this time.
