GIANNAKOS, Rose

ROSE GIANNAKOS Born December 12, 1955, in Humboldt, Saskatchewan – Passed October 13, 2025.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rose Giannakos, beloved wife of Alex Giannakos, devoted mother of Stavros Giannakos and Melinda Schatschneider, and cherished sister, aunt, and friend.
Rose and Alex shared 36 wonderful years of marriage, filled with love, laughter, and family. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and joy in life – from baking and fishing to traveling, especially during family trips to Greece with Alex and Stavros.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Alex, children Stavros and Melinda, sisters Rona, Audrey, and Elorie, their spouses and their families, as well as Alex’s brothers and sisters, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends in Arta, Greece.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
