RAYMOND LISUN It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Raymond (Ray) Lisun on April 4, 2026, following a battle of multiple health issues.
Ray was born in Coaldale, AB., May 19, 1960. He was predeceased by his parents, Sophia and Konstantyn (Ken) Lisun. He is survived by his wife, Wendy, daughter Natasha (Justin) his twin granddaughters, Meisha and Madeline, his sisters, Luba and Maria, his nephew and three nieces and their families.
Ray grew up in Lethbridge, AB. Where he spent many of his days exploring the coulees, and the streets around the neighbour. He took pride in driving his Beaumont on the strip.
Throughout his life, Ray held various jobs, but the highlights of what he truly enjoyed while working was when he worked for C.P. Rail, Lethbridge Hotel and driving shuttle bus with Transit for the City of Calgary before getting ill and subsequently retiring.
Ray will be remembered for his kindness, optimistic spirit, interest in conversation. He loved to talk and listen to any subject that might arise. He had a gentle soul who would do anything he possibly could for his friends and family.
As per his wishes, there will not be any funeral service or celebration of life. A private graveside service will be held in Lethbridge at a later date.
