WYNDER It is with heavy hearts that the family of Nadine Wynder (née Ballard) announce her passing on April 15, 2026, at the age of 99. She leaves behind a legacy defined by kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.
Nadine is survived by her children: Irene (Don) Millward, Dick (Terri), Kay (Laurie), Chuck, and Karen (Layton) de Roaldes; her son‑in‑law Mark Vold; 16 grandchildren; 24 great‑ grandchildren; 2 great‑great‑ grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Reed Wynder; her daughter, Collette Vold; her parents, Charles and Belva Ballard; her brothers Billy, Cleon, and Leslie; and her sisters Anne, Valena, Kitty, Irene, June, and Sheila.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Chinook Lodge and Lee Crest for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Nadine in her later years.
A Funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hill Spring, Alberta, on April 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
Friends may meet the family at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Hill Spring Cemetery.
