BARBARA DOROTHY FISHER (née Hunt) 1933 ~ 2026 Mom passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 surrounded by her close family.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 70 years, John; her children, Brenda (Francois) Massé, Scott (Barb) Fisher, and Todd (Beth) Fisher; as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Sharon Smith, and many dear friends and relatives.
Mom was devoted to her family and held each of us close to her heart. She was always there to cook a meal, lend a hand, or provide a shoulder to cry on. We are all richer for having had her in our lives. We loved her every day, and we will miss her every day.
A Celebration of Barb’s life will be held at a later date.
We’d like to extend a special thank you to all the healthcare providers who cared for mom during her stay at LRH. Your compassion and support meant so much to our family.
