SUURD 1953 – 2026 JEAN MARY SUURD passed away peacefully at the age of 73. A lifelong resident of Lethbridge, Jean was born at the Galt Hospital on April 21, 1953.
Jean was well-known for her love of crocheting, knitting, and her passion for yard sale-ing and shopping. She found great joy in cooking and baking for her family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and tradition.
She is survived by her husband Gerard Lidster; her daughter-in-law Amanda Audenaert; her daughter Bobbi-Jo; her sister Anne; her grandchildren Sean Suurd-Lidster, Adrian, and Matthew; her Niece Sarah; and other extended family members. She was predeceased by her three sons Wade, Christopher, and Jesse.
At Jean’s request, no formal service will be held. In memory of Jean, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca).
