NUGIS, Kathleen

Kathleen Isabelle Nugis October 9, 1953 ~ April 25, 2026 Kathleen Isabelle Nugis of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital on April 25, 2026, at 5:01 PM. She was 73 years old.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Harriet and Walter Nugis of Lethbridge; her sister Judy Etherington of Vancouver; her brother Patrick Nugis of Arizona; and her nephew Christopher Etherington of Vancouver.
She is survived by her brother Tim Nugis and will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews: Jeffery (Molly) Etherington, Amanda Nugis, and Brandon Nugis; great nieces and nephews, Meledee, Emmeytt, Zya, Trestan/TJ, Kingsley and Lennox. She also leaves to mourn her cousins Susan Lowe, Sandra Lowe, Roxanne Kendrick, and Marilynn Nicholson, as well as her dear friend Ellie Peters.
Kathy will be remembered for her presence in the lives of those who knew her, and for the connections she held close throughout her life.
Family would like to thank the staff at Edith Cavelle as well as the medical team throughout Chinook Regional Hospital, for their exceptional care of Kathy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Martha Retreat Centre (next to Radiology), 1130 Scenic Drive South, Lethbridge, Alberta.
