Posted: May 13th, 2026ROMBOUGH It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of GORDON ROMBOUGH, who departed this life in Milk River, AB, on Thursday, May 7th, 2026, at the age of 84.
Gordon was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to family and friends. Throughout his life, Gordon touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy of compassion and love.
Gordon is survived by his wife Cindy; son Toby Rombough (Amy); and daughter Alyson (Chris); his five grandchildren: Breanne Barsness, Colten Barsness, Logan Rombough, Brooklynn Rombough, and Kaden Barsness. He is also survived by his siblings: Dale (Dorthy) Rombough, Marian Nelson, Wally Rombough, Thelma Brown, and Jobie Carswell; Cindy’s sister Kerri Potvin (Ross), Robert Christensen and Katie Christensen, as well as numerous nieces, nephew, friends and loved ones, who will cherish his memory forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarance and Edith Rombough; Jean Olson (Howard), Lilian Olson (Herman), Marlene Howg (Milton), Ross Nelson (brother-in-law), Sylvia Rombough (sister-in-law), and Cindy’s family: Bill and Oneta Christensen, Bill (Donna) Christensen, Karen Brown, Ken Christensen, Joan Christensen and several nieces and nephews.
Though Gordon may no longer be with us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the remarkable life of Gordon Rombough at ST. MATTHEW’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 113 – 1 Avenue SE, Milk River, AB, on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 2:00 P.M.
At Gordon’s request, no Graveside service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.
