NOWLIN, Everett
Posted: May 22nd, 2026 In Loving & Grateful Memory of Time Shared EVERETT W. NOWLIN NOVEMBER 26, 1940 – DECEMBER 31, 2025 Everett Nowlin, of Lundbreck, Alberta, loving husband to Patricia, passed away at the Pincher Creek Health Center on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the age of 85 years.
He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He coached baseball and basketball and was an avid fly fisherman, camping enthusiast, and lifelong ardent Boston Red Sox fan.
Blessed with a generous heart, his volunteerism to his community was the cornerstone of his life, with time spent in service to the YMCA, Lethbridge Racquetball, canvassing for Charitable organizations, Lethbridge Musical Theatre; Little League, Big League and American Legion Baseball; Lethbridge College Board of Governors, Lethbridge and District Exhibition Board, Wilderness Ranch Board, and Livingstone School Basketball.
Sports were an important passion in life, and he is a member of the Lethbridge Sports Hall of Fame and the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame.
Evy slipped away quietly on December 31, in true accountant’s fashion on the very last day of his very last taxation year- no pesky tax issues for him!
Alzheimer’s ruled his final years, but his bright smile and sense of humor prevailed.
He is predeceased by his young brother Monte, sister Lorraine, great grandchild Kaden and Grandchildren Benjamin and Aiden.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; his children Michael, Christopher, Megan, Sarah (Lee), Joel (Rylene), and Josh; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother Tim; sisters Terry and Sherry and Bart his cat, and good buddy.
We will celebrate his life at our home in Willow Valley, under the scenic Livingstone Range of our majestic Rocky Mountains the land he cherished.
Please join us in celebrating Everett’s life at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, 9414 3-1A M.D. of Pincher Creek, with a luncheon to follow. Please feel free to dress casually as per the family’s request.
