It is with sadness that the family of Pauline Bouvier, announce her passing at the Riverview Care Center on Thursday, August 23, 2012, at the age of 50 years. Pauline was born March 20, 1962, in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, the fifth of nine children born to proud parents, Leopold and Claire Bouvier. She grew up on a farm near Assiniboia and later moved to Moosomin, Saskatchewan. In 1987, she moved to Medicine Hat where she enrolled in the Paramedic Program. During this time she was diagnosed with MS and was forced to discontinue her studies due to health issues. Pauline filled her days raising her children and keeping busy. She enjoyed all kinds of arts and crafts and tried her hands at many, including cross-stitching, collage, water color, cake decorating and even truck mechanics. Pauline will be remembered for her great sense of humor and positive attitude. She wore an infectious smile that would light up the room and always complimented those around her. She loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed by her mother, Claire Bouvier; three children, Alexandra (Devin) Porter and their son, Xavior; Christopher Bouvier (Shondel Vickerman) and Tali; Korey Bouvier; brothers and sisters, Adeline (Mike) Rozak, Raymond Bouvier, Bernadette (Marlow) Henrickson, Michel (Marianne) Bouvier, Jacqueline (Brett) Foster, Marianne (Calvin) Ruthven, Rose-Marie Bouvier (Dale Muhr) and Edna (David) Williamson as well as their families. Pauline was predeceased by her father, Leopold Bouvier. A Celebration of Pauline’s Life will be held at Heights Baptist Church, 1250 Division Avenue South, Medicine Hat, on Friday, August 31, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Patrick Schoenberger officiating.
