1965 ~ COCKLE ~ 2012

Mr. Sid Cockle of Medicine Hat passed away on Wednesday, August 29th, 2012 at the age of 47 years. Sid leaves to cherish his memory his children, Cayley and Casey Cockle, both of Medicine Hat; the mother of his children, Shawna Cockle of Medicine Hat; his parents, Charles Cockle and Alice Schultz; and his grandfather, Leroy Schultz. Sid was predeceased by his grandmother. Sid was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan on January 11th, 1965. He attended high school in Kelliher, Saskatchewan. Sid worked various jobs, including Harvest Meats for 10 years. He met and married Shawna on April 15th, 1995. Sid and Shawna settled in Redcliff and Sid went to work in the oil patch. Sid was an avid fisher and hunter, he also enjoyed quading, boating and camping. His favorite vacations were the 4 house boating excursions that he took with his family. Sid will be forever missed by those who knew him. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Saturday, September 1st, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Memorial gifts in Sid’s memory may be made to a trust fund for his children, CIBC, Redcliff Branch, 11 – 3rd Street SE, Redcliff, Alberta T0J 2P0.     I was so sorry to hear about your dad, Casey.I know how much you loved him. I will always remember how you and he shared that morning coffee!
