He was predeceased by his father, Elmer Wells and one nephew, Robbie Shewchuk. Duncan was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan on August 5, 1949. He always loved the rigs, and worked a number of years as an Oilfield Consultant before his retirement. March 9, 1994, marked one of his most memorable occasions as this was the day that he married the love of his life, Bonny Leonard. Duncan was a loving husband, true gentleman and a joy to be around! His many friends will forever remember his great sense of humour. Duncan loved his cats as was evident by their names… Kelley Big-Man Wells and Stella Sidney Crosby Wells In his younger years, he played football and enjoyed swimming. Later in life, he developed a love for growing his garden and riding his John Deere tractor. Duncan also enjoyed playing crib with his wife, but he could never win cause she cheated! Reminiscing about his trip to Las Vegas to attend the NHL Awards Night and the trip to Pittsburgh to be there for the Penguins last game at Mellon Arena always put a huge smile on his face!
