SPOONER, Joan Mary Florence (nee Owen), beloved wife of the late Glen B. Spooner, passed away on Saturday, November 17th, 2012 in Medicine Hat, Alberta at the age of 95 years. She leaves to mourn her daughter, Barb (Tony) DuPerrier and two grandsons, Darren DuPerrier and his daughter, Mea, all of Medicine Hat and Paul (Christine) DuPerrier and children Jackson and Paige, of Carievale, Saskatchewan. At Joan’s request, there will be no funeral service. Joan was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Alice Owen; and two sisters, Kaye (Alex) Hudson and Marj (Walt) Bell. She will also be sadly missed by her nieces June Bailey of St. Albert, Alberta and her family, and Shirley (Dan) Remier of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and their family. We would like thank all the staff at The Valleyview for their excellent care of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.     My deepest sympathies to the entire Spooner family. You mother and father were so generous with my family when I was a young girl at Carbondale Alberta. Your folks were very good friends to my father George and shared many experiences with him. May God Bless and keep you all as you mourn the loss of a lovely caring mother.
